The exhibition presents the history and the challenges in this territory of transformation and reveals the results of both consultations of urban planning for the Zac Gare Ardoines and Zac Seine parks Vitry.
A territory of de 300 hectares of transformation
Endowed with a privileged situation by Seine riverside, with very good accessibility and with dynamic economy, in industrial dominant, the site of Ardoines is going to know a deep transformation and to become an urban pole of metropolitan importance. Eventually, the site can welcome 13 000 housing and 45 000 jobs, more than 25 000 inhabitants, and 2,8 millions of m ² will be developed there. The project of redevelopment of Ardoines is going to allow the creation of large public places, the arrangement of the banks of the Seine in inhabited park, the construction of housing accompanied with businesses, services and equipment.
In 2012, launch of two consultations of urban planners
In June 2012, two consultations of urban planners were organized in procedure of competitive dialogue, for each of the first two ZAC, Parks Ardoines, ZAC the Seine Parks Vitry.
This procedure allowed the Public institution of development in Orly Rungis-Seine Amont and in the city of Vitry-sur-Seine, to exchange during several months with the candidates on the peculiarities of the project, in particular the joint of the scale of sectors with that of the site in general.
