More than 90 architects, designers, draughtsmen and architectural photographers rally in favor of the Emergency Architects !!

This is an unprecedented movement of solidarity and generosity where architects, draughtsman, designers and architectural and urban photographers come together from around 15 nations. Approximately 100 original pieces will be auctioned on October 16. The Pavillon de l’Arsenal will display these pieces the weekend before on over 600 m2, giving visitors a rare insight into the conceptual process of some of the greatest architects via sketches, drawings, aquarelle paintings, photomontages, furniture and prototypes. The exhibition also holds one of the largest urban photography collections ever assembled. The benefit auction for the Foundation of Emergency Architects is a wonderful occassion for architecture and photography lovers to acquire original works by both established and up and coming architects and artists and to support the foundation. All proceeds of the auction hosted by the auctioneers Rémy Le Fur will go to the Foundation of Emergency Architects, which has saught to evalulate and reconstruct on behalf of victims of natural disasters since its creation in 2001. The Foundation of Emergency Architects, with its 1500 professional volunteers, has reached out to the poorest victims of natural disaster for over ten years, most notably in Haiti, and helps them to relocate but also educates and supports them in the reconstruction of their lives in a sustainable manner.
