The purpose of this exhibition was twofold :
- analyze the urban fabric in the pre-Haussmann period and its evolution by looking at each one of the arrondissements of Paris, particularly the "outlying" ones,
- present urban studies and completed architectural projects aimed at preserving, transforming and revitalizing this fabric.
