The " European tower ", born at the beginning of the 20th century during the American skyscrapers, in order to find its place in the European city, has developed several peculiarities which this exhibition analyzes, tells and describes.

The exhibition redraws through more than 150 realizations and symbolic projects the history of the European tower, analyzes and details its qualities and urban, spatial, technical specificities, and invites us to discover how 9 European metropolises approach this question on current events and future of their landscapes.

What's the future of European projects? How do we build towers today? How will they be ecological tomorrow? How will they join our cities? Towers of office, accommodation, mixed programs? So many questions which deserve debates which animate Brussels, Copenhagen, Frankfurt, London, Madrid, Milan, Paris, Rotterdam or Vienna.

Documents, photos, plans, archives images and documentary movies tell us little by little, document after document, what makes the wealth and the diversity of this born tower 100 years ago.
