Richard Scoffier is an architect and holds an advanced degree in philosophy. After obtaining the Albums de la Jeune Architecture in 1991, he founded an agency in Paris whose study models were recently exhibited in several Maisons de l'Architecture. Professor of theories and practices of architectural and urban design at ENSA in Versailles, he is a critic and has collaborated for more than ten years on the review of A. He has published in particular: Scènes d'Atelier, the catalogue of Christian de Portzamparc's exhibition at the Centre Pompidou, in 1996; Les villes de la puissance, published by Éditions Jean-Michel Place, in 2000; Les 4 concepts fondamentaux de l'architecture contemporaine, published by Éditions Norma, in 2011, and Volume III of Christian Hauvette's monograph, published by the Archives d'Architecture Moderne, in 2015. These articles and books earned him the medal of architectural analysis awarded by the Academy of Architecture in 2013.
