FRANKLIN AZZI ARCHITECTURE

In this landscape under construction of the URBAN DEVELOPMENT ZONE of Docks to Saint-Ouen, the building " Dock in the Seine ", delivered last April, cross a radical rationality in its morphology and its facades and an elegant and just architectural expression, a shape of timeless modernity. Here neither formalism nor insignificance, big compactness and flexibility harmonize in the simple game of the volumes, in the delicacy of openings, the sensitive character of the shared spaces. The formal nature and the peculiarity of the buildingDock in the Seine arise from this innovative abstract approachwhich associates a concrete and mathematical intelligence where nothing is really left at random and an attention sensitive to the architectural subject: light, materials, volumes. But, beyond the shape, the approach questions the current processes of creation, to exceed the IT tool and the prosaic production, to exceed the economic or technical constraints to find a positive contextualité, a sensual reality and a universe of blooming for the users, an architectural "custom-made product" just like a well cut suit.
