In Brazil, an appointed developper Otavio Zarvos commanded Triptych housing. This project is the fragment of a French-Brazilian history, between Paris, São Paulo and Rio de Janeiro, between the tropical cities, the intensity of rains, lights, contrasts. It is a ranging-pole in an anthropophagique experience in Antarctic France. The urban landscape of São Paulo is strongly marked by two main figures which coexist in a independent and simultaneous way. On one hand the vertical constructions mainly faithful to the modernist / rationalist model evolving at random of a fluctuating urban planning; on the other hand, the historic and/or informal activity on two or three floors of the residual space between these constructions. The set is characterized by spectacular breaks of scales and sizes, giving to see a chaotic and intermittent urban fabric. Situated in a middle-class district in constant transformation, the project joins exactly in this context and enjoys a location outside one of these perpetuated breaks, revealing a split panoramic skyline. The proposal feeds on the formal, textual and climatic complexity of the place in the bend of a reformulation of the traditional model of the apartment building.
