To enable everyone to better understand the reflections and proposals of the 4 selected teams, the book first invites them to discover or rediscover the history of the Ile-de-France motorway network and the gradual transformation of its uses and landscape.
This unique retrospective is led by Mathieu Mercuriali and Virginie Picon Lefebvre. The book also includes contributions from Nicolas Hautière and the IAU ÎdF/Driea, as well as the creation of an atlas of the roads, highways and structuring roads of Greater Paris by Antoine Barjon and the Atelier Parisien d'Urbanisme. In view of this history and cartographic work, this book reveals the visions of each team on a regional scale but also in a dozen strategic locations and emblematic of mobility in Île-de-France.
