FAIRE 2022

6th edition

After hearing the pitches of the finalists, the jury of the FAIRE 2022 call for projects has selected twelve winning projects. This year’s diversity of projects provides a broad overview of the challenges facing the Parisian metropolis—including biodiversity, urban heat islands, low-carbon construction, and energy sobriety, but also the redefining of urban professions, pooling, co-production, and more. These are translated into a plurality of actions, including a prototype, a guide, a participatory construction project, a publishing project, an installation, and a survey.

Undertaken by creators, architects, designers, urban planners, and landscape designers (emerging or established), all projects reflect the desire to experiment with alternative ways of designing or building the city, as well as for participatory models and shared approaches.

This year, FAIRE, which is supported by the City of Paris, the Caisse des Dépôts, MINI, and EDF, received 208 applications, asserting its position as the leading accelerator for innovative architectural and urban projects. The entire team at Pavillon de l’Arsenal extends its thanks to all those who applied to the FAIRE call for projects, as well as the sixty or so experts who analyzed the applications and the 16 jury members.
